This is probably one of the nicer hotels we stayed at during our trip to Vietnam. Very friendly staff and tons of amenities. This is a quick tour of our hotel room. I'd give detailed reviews but you can find a lot at tripadvisor.com.

Hyatt Regency Chicago - Video Tour
Another contributer to my small but growing hotel video tours. This was a quick tour of the Hyatt Regency Chicago by Wendy & Jeff... enjoy!
P.S. - I don't know why it shows a color bar as my video thumbnail.

New Hotel Tour Contributors!
Since I can't go everywhere in this world to provide hotel reviews, I will be relying on others! Here is one from my friend Preston giving his tour of the Royal Lahaina Resort in Maui!

Video Hotel Tours and More!
Absence only makes the heart grow fonder. Have you missed my shitty ass blogs? My first blog of 2009 will incorporate a new hobby of mines, hotel video tours! Here are a couple I've done...
Maui, HI -- Ka'anapali Ocean Inn
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada -- Westin Grand Vancouver
I can only promise you that the production of these videos will only get better!

Hockey Mockumentary Redux!
*** VIDEOS HAVE BEEN REMOVED DUE TO LEGAL REASONS ***
For those that don't know, I love ICE hockey. I capitalized "ICE" because there are people who play roller hockey. Roller hockey are for pansies and I'm not a pansy. Hockey isn't hockey unless there's ice.
I'm re-posting a few videos we shot a couple of seasons back for the now defunct Pacific Predators.
We're in the process of compiling a new video for the PUNISHERS. Release date is TBD. But for now, enjoy these videos!

Closing in on THIRTY
The countdown has officially begun. A year from now, I turn 30. That means I have 365 days to enjoy the last year of my twenties. Is this a good or bad thing?
I spent a majority of this past week reflecting. Reflecting on the 29 years of life that I've lived. I asked myself, "did you enjoy those years?" After much thought, I honestly can't answer that. Not today. But I can definitely say this: life becomes a routine.
I eat. I sleep. I work. I love.
Not much in-between but the occasional planned adventures. I just don't think I can live a life knowing what's going to happen today, tomorrow, and next week. I'm afraid that one day, I won't have a choice. My ultimate fear is to have someone tell me, "this is your life, this is how you're going to live it, so make due."
I"m not looking for a crazy adventure or a life altering experience. But maybe that's what it takes to break a routine.
I may sound like I'm ranting but I admit that I've had a very fortunate life thus far. I have everything I can possibly need. A loving family, a beautiful girlfriend, good friends, and a job. But for some reason, I still don't think that's enough. What's missing? What do I need?
So I am giving myself exactly one year to find out. I plan to evaluate every facet of my life leaving no stone unturned. I'm going to attempt to find that "missing piece." It may or may not happen. But that's life, right? You make due.
The next 365 days will be both interesting and challenging. Wish me luck!

Vegas Baby, Vegas!

Attended a Bachelor Party 6/20/08 - 6/22/08. We played freeze tag on the strip and I won multiple times. We also went to Q-zar for some laser tag too. It was the best ever.
But seriously, this was a trip we all needed. The atmosphere of the city was a great change of pace. We drank and partied like rock stars. We met great people and had unforgettable experiences. I had my share of regrets but who doesn't? This is SIN CITY!

Vietnam, here I come!
It's been way too long since I last blogged, my apologies to all. Life has thrown me some lemons and I've been busy making lemonade. Very, very sour lemonade. Want some?
Actually, I've been busy planning my exciting trip to Vietnam. Yes, Viet-fucking-Nam! Why am I visiting Vietnam? Why not! My itinerary as follows:
Ho Chi Minh City > Phu Quoc > Hue > Nha Trang > Ho Chi Minh City > USA
I will be in Vietnam for 2 1/2 weeks! That's the longest vacation I have ever taken in my life. It's also the first time I've been to Asia and in a 3rd world country no less. I plan to blog at each of my stops. Hopefully I'll be able to find some sort of internet connection. I hear that the connection speed totally blows over there.
Anyway, my flight leaves in a few hours and I gotta finish packing. The next time I blog, it'll be from a hot, humid, and stinky internet cafe' out in the boonies.

Holy shit, it's Joe Thornton!
I had quite an anniversary to remember. Was eating at Alexander's Steakhouse to celebrate and saw a few San Jose Sharks players. Sitting across from us was Joe-fucking-Thornton. How awesome is that? For those that don't know who he is, he's an NHL All-Star and former MVP. Being a loyal Sharks fan that I am, it was an exciting moment. Here's a blurry picture I snapped with my phone:
Also there was Douglas Murray, Jody Shelley, Brian Boucher, and Brian Campbell. Awesome.
Of course, I did not ask for an autograph since it might be poor etiquette to disturb them during dinner (didn't want to get my ass kicked by Shelley, the team's enforcer).
So anyway, we had a very enjoyable meal and loved the "view." Hopefully in future anniversary dinners I can meet more athletes and/or celebrities!
By the way, what's the fobby Asian girl doing with Thornton? LOL.
